Since 2016, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum has been a space to acknowledge and celebrate the Irish diaspora and the far-reaching impact they've had.

It's fittingly based within the chq Building along Dublin's docklands, where hundreds and hundreds of Irish people boarded famine ships in the mid 1800s to escape hunger and build better lives for themselves and their families.
The chq building itself is a Grade One listed building situated within the heart of the city’s bustling International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). It was built in 1820 as a new bonded warehouse to store large and valuable cargos of tobacco, tea and spirits. The dockers and merchants knew it as the Tobacco Store, or later, as Stack A. The building was made famous when it hosted the Crimean War Banquet in 1856 celebrating the return of 3,000 Irish soldiers.
While chq has since been modernised, it maintains its vintage feel, making it a unique and one-of-a-kind venue for hire, whether that's for a conference, a party, or a launch event. It has hosted countless events for businesses, sponsorships, exhibition launches, and it is highly adaptable for whatever kind of shindig you're hoping to throw.
